 Roulette is a great fun game that is simple to play. A croupier spins the roulette wheel and rolls a ball in the opposite direction. A number wins when the ball stops rolling and stays in that slot on the roulette wheel.
The American roulette wheel is different from the European roulette wheel in that there is a double zero slot in the American version. This extra slot means the chances of winning are one out of thirty-eight in American roulette, a little worse than the one in thirty-seven for the European version.
Gambling on Roulette: "Inside bets" are those made on the thirty-six number, zero and double-zero layout. "Outside bets" are all those made outside the number layout.
