 Blackjack (sometimes called twenty one) is the most popular table game in casinos, probably because it gives you a better chance at winning than other casino games. The object of blackjack is to beat the dealer. Everyone plays against the dealer, not against each other.
Gambling on Blackjack: You win by
- your cards totalling twenty-one or lower and it's higher than the dealer's hand,
- the dealer goes over twenty-one.
Each card has a numerical value. For example, a four is worth four and so on. Face cards are worth ten and aces are worth either one or eleven, it's up to you. If your hand total is over twenty-one, then you've busted and automatically lose.
